I’m Jen! I’m a graduate student at Nicholls State University and a mom of 2. I work in youth outreach and advocacy during the week, and on weekends I capture the magic of love stories through wedding content creation. I’m all about connection, community, and celebrating people at every stage of life! My favorite part of a wedding day is the first kiss and walk back down the aisle, and I cannot survive a wedding day without a crispy fountain coke!

My name is Kathryn DeVillier, and I joined Day of Bestie this year after DOB captured content for my wedding in May. I fell in love with the way they documented such a special day, and it instantly felt like something I wanted to be part of for other brides. I’m a 24-year-old soon-to-be first-time mom, dog lover, travel enthusiast, and hopeless wedding romantic. I’m based in Lafayette and so excited to be here!

Now as a Baton Rouge-based content creator with Day Of Bestie, I get to capture the real details and joy-filled moments that make your events so special.  From candid laughs to emotional exchanges, I focus on documenting the moments you didn’t even realize were happening—then turning them into content you can relive and share almost instantly. Ashley G. Garner is a New England–based photographer and content creator who discovered wedding content creation after her own wedding in 2024. After asking a friend to capture candid behind-the-scenes moments on a phone, she was deeply moved by how those real, unscripted clips brought the day back to life. Inspired by that experience, Ashley now helps couples preserve those same authentic moments from their wedding day. With over 14 years of professional photography experience and a background in Fine Art and Art History, she brings an artist’s eye and a storyteller’s heart to every celebration.  

Hi, I’m Julie! I’ve been working with Day of Bestie since November 2024 after Alexis and I connected and became immediate friends. My experience includes working as a senior portrait photographer in the Baton Rouge area since 2011 along with 8 years of experience in video production.  Connecting with people is my favorite part of a wedding day. Whether it’s the couple, their parents, the bridal party or vendors -  I just love sharing their joy! I also love bringing fun and levity to the day through content. When I’m not working, you can find me at home trying a new crafty hobby and hanging out with my kiddos.

I joined Day of Bestie in 2024, and I’ve been completely hooked ever since. I’ve been obsessed with the art of storytelling since I was a little kid — turning fleeting moments into memories that last forever. That’s exactly why I’m here: to capture and tell your unique story with heart and authenticity. What I cherish most is getting to play a small but meaningful part in your biggest moments — those quiet, joyful, in-between details that make the day magical. When I’m not shooting with DOB, I’m building my own social cinematography business, Shots by Schnell, where I create cinematic, vibe-filled content that feels real and timeless.
